About us
We three have been playing music together for 25 years. We met In the springtime of our lives and shortly afterwards all three of us were young (ish) mothers.Not too much time later we were all young single mothers who needed to use lots of creativity and babysitters to get our children into bed and asleep in time for the weekly band practises.
Time passes and the kids are grown and some are even parents themselves, and even though it seems we have arrived so swiftly at the autumn of our lives (or maybe its just late summer?) we still rock every stage that we can get.
Over the years we have developed a deep sisterly connection and we like to think that we have even almost become adults together. We’ve shared tragic and joyful moments, we have wept and laughed and been nervous together and sworn at each other and in titchy pub bathrooms we’ve shared titchy mirrors to put on our organic and cruelty free make up .We’ve moaned about the use of spray deodorants in small spaces, worried about having to work early the next morning and the fact that its always us, the women in all our other bands who always end up carrying the sub woofer.
And somehow, even without a Navi we always made it home.
Cake for breakfast is a celebration of our long friendship and the music that we have nurtured together for so many years.
